General Questions

How can I request a catalog or other product literature from TSI?
Requesting catalogs and literature is very easy, either follow this link to our Catalog Request Form, call us at 800-835-4796, fax us at 800-835-2202, or e-mail us at tsinc@techspecinc.com.

Is it possible to get a sales representative to come to my facility?
Call, fax, e-mail, or use our Contact Form and we will have a local rep contact you to make an appointment.

Where are you located?
Our office and warehouse are together and located in Midland, MI -- view us on Google Maps.

Is there a way to evaluate my experience with TSI?
We are always looking for feedback on the service we provide to our customers. If you have something you would like to share please contact us.

Quotes & Orders Questions

Can I place my order online? How can I place my orders?
Currently we are unable to offer online ordering through our website. This is due to the near infinite amount of component combinations that make up the parts that we sell. This may change in the future as it is something that we would like to offer our customers. If you would like to place an order with us, you may e-mail, call, or fax a purchase order over and we will be glad to take care of it.

How can I check the status on a current order?
E-mail, call, fax us, or use our Contact Form and we will be glad to give you the current status on your order -- tracking numbers, delivery times, order dates, etc.

How can I request a price/delivery quote?
There are many ways that you can request a quote with TSI. There is an RFQ form on our website, you can e-mail, call, or fax also and we would gladly get the pricing and delivery to you as quickly as possible.

Are items I purchase subject for returns?
Because many of the items we sell are specifically modified per application it is very hard to generalize whether an item is considered returnable or not. If you have questions on your purchase or a defective item please direct your concerns to us immediately. Contact us via e-mail, fax, or phone with the details on your order -- PO number, part number, and reason for return.

Do the products I ordered come with any warranties?
Each product has manufacturer specific warranties. If you are in question and would like to know if your product is covered please contact us via phone, fax, e-mail, or by using our Contact Form.

What shipping/freight companies do you use?
Our standard shipping methods are UPS Ground or Conway (for LTL shipments). We are able to ship via different carriers if you prefer; please let us know at the time of order your preferred shipping requirements.

How can I retrieve a tracking number for my order?
Contact us via phone, fax, e-mail, or by using our Contact Form and we will send tracking information to you as quickly as possible. Please have your PO number or invoice number included in your inquiry.

Are items I purchase subject for returns?

If you have questions on your purchase or a defective item please direct your concerns to us immediately. Contact us via e-mail, fax, or phone with the details on your order -- PO number, part number, and reason for return.

Do the products I ordered come with any warranties?

Does Tech Spec Inc. offer machining/fabrication services?
Custom machining and other services are available including dowel holes, rail joints, preload changes, custom lube ports, end machining, keyways, special coatings, etc. If you are interested in any of these fabrications please let us know when you are requesting a quote by supplying a print or description so we can quote your requests properly.

Who should I contact for product support and technical assistance?
If you have any specific questions regarding any of the products we have please feel free to contact us at 800-835-4796, e-mail at tsinc@techspecinc.com, fax 800-835-2202, or ask within ourContact Form. Our staff is experienced with these components and are ready to answer any questions you may have.

Billing & Accounts Questions

Can I receive copies of my invoices?
If you did not receive an invoice, misplaced it, or just would like another copy for your records please let us know and we will send over the copies you need. Request a copy by contacting our Accounting Department accounting@techspecinc.com, online Contact Form, call, or fax us the copies you need and we will get them to you as quickly as possible.

Is it possible to receive a current statement on my account?
Statements are sent out monthly to your billing address or e-mail. If you would like to receive a current statement on your account please contact us via phone, e-mail, or fax and we will provide you with an account statement.

Where can I update my company information with TSI?
If you have recently moved to a new facility, changed any of your billing information, new phone or fax numbers, different e-mail addresses, would like to change payment options, or have any other information you feel would be helpful to Tech Spec Inc., please let us know. You can update your account information by filling out our Contact Form, fax, e-mail, or phone and we will input your new information immediately.

Can I choose how to receive my invoices?
Yes, you can choose to have your invoices e-mailed, faxed, or mailed to you. Please specify your preferred method of delivery when placing your order or setting up your new account. If you are already an established customer and would like to change this, please email our Accounting Department - accounting@techspecinc.com.

How can I set up a Net Terms account with TSI?
Tech Spec agrees to Net Terms accounts for qualifying customers. Please refer to our Credit Application; if you have any questions regarding accounts please direct them to our Accounting Department at accounting@techspecinc.com. For other methods of payment we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, prepay by check, EFT, and COD.

Can my company use TSI as a credit reference?
Please contact our Accounting Department with your credit inquiries including any questions for referencing customer account information.

What forms of payment are accepted?
We try to offer our customers a range of options to pay for their orders. These methods include -- Visa, MasterCard & American Express, COD, prepay via check or EFT, and you may also apply for a Net Terms account by contacting our Accounting Department.
